Konrad was a terrific host and shared interesting, useful stories about the area. Our spacious, clean room opened onto the patio by the pool, making this a great stop on our trip. Breakfast was really good. We also tried dinner, which had a few teething issues as the first guests offered that option, but the food was tasty and excellent value. It seems like a definite plus going forward. There’s also a great gym for after a long time in the car.

We got a takeaway from Kliprand Guesthouse for Mother’s Day, and everything was delicious and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and the care in preparing each dish came through. The owner and staff communicated quickly and warmly, and the whole order was well organised and easy. We’ll definitely order again, highly recommend it.

Kliprand was a lovely, relaxing find in Spingbok. Our Lonely Planet guide led us there, and I’m glad it did. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast delicious. My husband especially loved the fabulous tub, since he enjoys a long, hot bath. The owner stopped by our breakfast table and thanked us for coming. After years in hospitality myself, I appreciate an owner who makes time for guests.

After a long drive, the staff made us feel welcome, and Kappie went well beyond what we expected. We were treated like family. The spacious rooms were immaculate, with the walk-in shower we’d requested in advance. Breakfast was excellent, with fruit, continental, and hot choices. We’ll be back to this beautiful Oasis, and I’d happily recommend it to any weary traveler looking to refresh and Enjoy.

The bed and bedding were top quality, and having air conditioning and a fridge in the room was such a treat. The staff were so friendly, the service was outstanding, and breakfast was delicious. The omelette was a clear favourite. I enjoyed every moment at Kliprand and wouldn’t book anywhere else.
