The quiet mornings were a real highlight for me: a run in the natural surroundings, then time to unwind by the beach. That calm setting suited our church conference beautifully, with room for fellowship and rest. We were there for three days at Palm Dune Beach Lodge, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Everyone was kind, attentive, and ready to help. The meals were delicious and filling, too, and the chefs deserve special thanks for the care they put into each dish. It was a memorable stay, and I’d gladly return. Palm Dune Beach Lodge would suit a group retreat or special event as well as a relaxing break.

I visited from 20-22 March 2026, and the place is still on my mind. It’s absolutely beautiful, one of the best places I’ve been. The food was great, service excellent, and the accommodation was a 100. We got all that and more.

Right on the beach, with lovely vegetation all around the resort. It’s very isolated, which is perfect if that’s the kind of place you’re after.

We’ve held our staff party here for several years, thanks to the management and staff. The braai spot is shaded by trees and sheltered from the wind, so it’s a nice place to spend time with friends or family. The beach is just a short walk away. There’s also an upstairs pub serving drinks and meals, with sea air and magnificent views. Accommodation is available, and the staff are willing and accommodating. Give it a try.
