Bonne Esperance Studio Apartments

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and happy to accommodate requests. After checkout I was even able to stay and work until later in the day, with a beautiful view. There’s off-street parking, and the centre of Stellenbosch is walkable. The neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful, and I’d definitely return. We had a wonderful self-catering studio and made our own breakfast. The room was perfect, with a table and chairs. The small kitchen had a fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery, and cutlery, though you’ll need to bring your own condiments. We prepared a couple of dishes ahead of time and just warmed them up. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and we slept so well. I loved the morning sun coming in, and they’d provided a torch for load shedding. The bathroom was spacious, with a lovely big walk-in shower and divine Charlotte Ryhs toiletries for showering and washing.

The location was good, but the studio was very small, more like a room with a microwave. It was on the ground floor facing a wall.

This is a gorgeous little spot in the Stellenbosch paradise, with kind staff and an ideal location. It’s only a short walk to historic Stellies, and the botanical gardens are opposite. We had trouble with our Aircon, and before we knew it, a maintenance crew had arrived to remove it and rewire things. The staff couldn’t have been kinder.

A lovely setup, with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Breakfast was outstanding.
