Book Merlot Cottage for the view. I had a restful weekend here, with elegant rooms, quality linens, and comfortable beds. The kitchen had modern appliances and was well equipped. I accidentally left a pair of shoes behind, and the owner arranged to have them delivered promptly. Looking forward to my next visit.

The views are incredible, and the place is really amazing and very central. The kitchen has everything you need, and rooms are serviced daily. Security could use some improvement.

We highly recommend staying here. It's beautifully set and well located for the wine farms, Somerset West, and Stellenbosch. The accommodation was outstanding and had everything needed for self-catering.

It's a lovely place apart from the lack of natural ventilation in some of the ground-floor bedrooms, which was really unpleasant.

Andrew was a very attentive host. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and everything was clean.
