The breakfast choices were massive, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. It’s an excellent guesthouse, with great staff and decor, and has secure parking if you bring a car. The location is very good too, an easy walk to the high street, restaurants, bars, and lots of boutique shops. You won’t be disappointed.

The rooms are spacious, and the lounge feels very homely. This was my second stay, and I can only recommend the place. Marguerite and her team are amazing. When the airline dropped off my lost luggage after I’d already left, Marguerite even drove it to cape town so I’d get it on time. What wonderful service. It’s also very central, and you can easily walk into the city center. If you’re in Stellenbosch, stay here.

Margie, the owner, made the biggest impression on me with her personal touch. Her signature muffins and rusks are made from scratch, and they’re both healthy and tasty. The house is beautifully kept, with welcoming decor, and the warmth and energy here are out of this world. Everything was organized and supportive from start to finish. I’d come back over and over. Thank you, Margie, for your kindness and warmth. I’ll always remember your iconic yellow dining table. It was such a wholesome experience!

Margie looks after you like a mother would. She’s the best host you could ask for. Breakfast was delicious, high quality, and made to order. The rooms have everything you need, and load shedding wasn’t an issue. This place deserves a five star accommodation rating.

I stayed for two months and really enjoyed it. The house is great, the people are lovely, and the atmosphere works well for a holiday as well as working or studying. The owner was so welcoming and made my time there special. I’d come back anytime and highly recommend it. The city itself is very nice, and the accommodation is in a great spot for exploring without a car.
