The guest house had a relaxing atmosphere and magnificent scenery all around. It was such a beautiful place for a conference, with scrumptious teas and delicious meals served promptly at the allocated times. The manageress went out of her way to look after all our needs, especially those of the overseas delegates staying at the guest house. I can’t wait to return, even just to stay and enjoy the surroundings.

The location was great, but the rooms were dirty and dusty, and very outdated. The mattresses were old and worn, and the towels weren’t clean. There were lots of ants and insects in the room. The bathroom floors were dirty, and the shower drain smelled really bad.

We came for a weekend with a large family group for a wedding at another venue. The setting among vineyards and mountains was very pretty, and the breakfasts were good. The accommodation was fairly basic but comfortable, though the “double” bed was very small for a double. They were very obliging about arranging a shuttle to take us to the wedding and bring us back afterwards.

The staff at rosenview were all so friendly, and the guest house had a warm, inviting, easygoing feel. I loved my stay and would live there if I could! The swimming pool was nice for cooling off and didn’t seem to get much use. The minibar prices were very reasonable, so I used it for drinks throughout my stay. Breakfast was consistently delicious, with something different each day. Thanks everyone at rosenview for a great stay.

Clean, affordable rooms and friendly staff. There’s air conditioning in the rooms, so the guest house works well in any season. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of choices, and you get great views of the vineyards.
