It feels like such a breath of fresh air.

We went last week for a close friend's birthday, and the team handled everything with care, making the occasion feel special from the moment we arrived. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the calm, inviting spa made us feel at ease. The treatments were wonderful, and I left relaxed and refreshed. I've visited quite a few spas, and this one felt personal rather than impersonal and transactional. The gardens are beautiful, and I can imagine how stunning they'd be in summer. My only small criticism is that the locker room setup felt a little awkward and impractical. Otherwise, it was a special experience, unlike anything I've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

The spa is beautifully designed, and the private spa cottage concept feels relaxing, luxurious, and thoughtfully put together. Still, after choosing the most expensive treatment package, we felt the experience fell short overall. Communication was poor from the start. We were greeted in the welcome area, but almost nothing was explained. There was one menu for two of us, and no one clarified what food to choose or how many items were included. We also weren't told to bring swimsuits for the private spa cottage, where the entire session takes place, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. My therapist, Siya, was polite and responsive when I asked for stronger massage pressure, but the technique itself wasn't what I'd expect from a luxury spa. The worst moment came at the end: while we were drying our hair and speaking at a normal volume in the changing area, manager Natasha came into the dressing room and rather rudely told us to be quiet. Since there's no proper door between the changing area and massage rooms, this seems like a layout issue. Guests should be told ahead of time that the rooms are directly beside the changing area and that talking or using your own hairdryer isn't allowed. With premium prices, I expected much better communication, customer care, and service.

For my husband's birthday, we visited the Spa for the first time today. The professionals went out of their way to spoil him and gave him a beautiful gift, which he appreciated so much. The whole experience was bliss, and we've found our new favourite spa. A huge shout out to the team. We're coming all the way from Durbanville and will see you soon!
