The pool looked lovely, but the room was shocking: old and damaged, with stained cushions and really miserable towels. The photos might seem petty, but this wasn't acceptable for what we paid. What was advertised and what we found were worlds apart. I asked for a different room, but there wasn't one available. We were booked for two nights and left instead. The place feels tired and run down, and I find its high rating hard to believe. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Breakfast was great, and there's a restaurant on site. The rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly. You can leave your car parked and put away the keys. The minibar fridge had treats, plus wine for sale. There’s also a pool, tennis court, and Putt Putt for the kids.

Vine is our usual choice when we're in South Africa. We love the service, the atmosphere, and the rooms, especially the lovely beds and swimming pool. It's a small family-owned business, with a restaurant and mini golf on site that's great with kids. Highly recommended!

Suzette and the team were fantastic. It’s a clean, spacious guest house, and breakfast was generous and fresh. The location also makes it easy to get to Stellenbosch wineries like Muratie and Simonsig. There’s a tennis court, and cats too.

We had a great room for our seven-night stay at the Vine Guesthouse, with a small outdoor area looking over the pool and tennis court. The hosts and the wider team were very hospitable, and we hope to come back. It’s a fantastic location, only a short drive from central Stellenbosch and everything the region has to offer.
