The shuttle was R450, while nearby hotels charge around R100. The room itself was only the start of the costs: breakfast was called “included,” but more than two eggs and each extra item cost more. Our room had just a kettle and fridge for a “kitchen,” and the hairdryer was so dirty a tissue stuck to it. Check-in is listed as 2-6 PM, but Booking didn't show a late arrival fee before payment. We only got an automated message after paying. We checked in advance and were told a late arrival was “no problem,” then got charged R350 when we arrived. Staff, especially one short-haired lady, were rude and confrontational. The next morning she demanded the same fee again before breakfast. It escalated until police were called over the disputed charge, which has never happened to me before. I've stayed in hundreds of places, and this was easily one of my worst experiences. If hidden charges and arguments sound good to you, go ahead. Otherwise, avoid it.

We'd love to come back. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was superb, especially the perfectly poached eggs and delicious homemade jams. The staff made the stay feel unforgettable. They were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Thanks for such a lovely visit.

Wilmien took such good care of us, and we'd gladly recommend staying at Andelomi's. We had a wonderful time there. The bedroom was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options. Thank you for looking after us 😊

The food was excellent, and we enjoyed a chat with Mike, the owner, in his bar. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly. We had a delightful stay at Andelomi from 30 Jan - 2nd Feb, with a spacious, comfortable room, peaceful gardens, and a sparkling clean pool. It's close to the Otter Trail start, Storms River Mouth, Tsitsikamma Forest, Bloukrans River Bridge, Nature’s Valley, and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
