Andelomi Nature's Rest

Breakfast was lovely and the service was excellent. It's a peaceful, beautiful lodge, with a bar fridge, tea, and coffee in the room. Towels were supplied adequately, though bring your own toiletries. We arrived around 18h00 to 19h00 and nearly had to leave because nobody was at reception or answering the calls. My husband even rang the cool bell. Mr Mike eventually came and explained they were in the restaurant and hadn't heard us. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know where to go. Thankfully, he'd switched on the heater, and there was a wonderful electric blanket. We'd bought food for a braai, but were told the area was across the garden. On a cold night, hungry, and told by our host that dinner couldn't be served, we didn't feel very welcome. We ended up driving to the nearest garage for pies, which was a very disappointing meal for me. It would've helped to have a supper menu and to be told during booking that dinner needed to be reserved in advance. A braai stand closer to the room would also be more comfortable, especially on cold nights. There seemed to be enough space for one. Walking across the garden wouldn't be a problem in summer or warm weather. Thank you for the experience.

Our room was spacious and warm, the service was friendly, and breakfast was outstanding, especially the farm bread and fresh baking. We really enjoyed our short stay at Andelomi Nature's Rest. The room wasn't as clean as we'd hoped. When we looked for a lost toy, we found a lot of dust under the beds.

Mike, Wilmien, and the staff made us feel right at home. We stayed at Andelomi for five nights and had a lovely time. Everything was clean, and the rooms were neat and tidy. Breakfast was amazing every morning, thank you for making it for us 😊 The staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely come back. 👍👌

We could walk to great restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and had a terrace, with parking right outside the door. The staff were great and helped with recommendations as well as bookings. Breakfast was exceptional, with cereal, homemade bread, scones, pancakes, banana bread, and a cooked option too.
