The breakfast setup made me uneasy. Birds and cages were close to the food, and I had hygiene concerns. The room also had flat cushions and visible dust, while the ceiling fan was noisy and the ventilation limited. Other guests disturbed us after hours, too. We left early because the bathroom door wasn’t working properly. Someone made a temporary adjustment, but the problem wasn’t fully fixed, and we were told parts were still needed. I also saw at least one very positive online review that seemed to come from someone connected to the property, which lowered my confidence in its review profile. We don’t often post negative reviews, but I wanted to share what happened so others can decide with that in mind.

Doves and a rabbit wander around the grounds, which gives the place a natural feel. It’s a really cool spot, with a great atmosphere and rooms that are out of this world. Broadwalk mall is only a few minutes away on foot.

I stayed here in Port Elizabeth before driving to Addo Elephant National Park in the morning. It’s about a half-hour drive. The owner lives on site and couldn’t have been nicer. The property felt very safe, and the beach, a great indoor mall, and lots of dinner options are all an easy walk away. My room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There’s also a pool in the middle of a courtyard out back. Enjoy!

The room was missing a TV remote, and one of the plug points didn’t work. Service also didn’t feel particularly welcoming, and I didn’t think the stay was good value for money. Breakfast was dry and basic, and the quality was underwhelming. I left disappointed, since the stay didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
