The biggest frustration was the parking. I told the booking agent at least three months ahead that I had a large vehicle, but they couldn't arrange a bay swap with another unit. There were spaces I could have used, yet my car sat outside in the sun for the whole stay. Neither the booking agent, Stefan, nor the other units managed to sort it out. We paid a lot for the penthouse suite, but supplies were stingy. There weren't enough bath or hand towels for everyone, even though there were only five of us in the four bedroom unit for eight days. I didn't get a hand towel and bath towel for each guest at any point. Asking for fresh towels got me nowhere. There was no toilet roll either, and we had to buy dish soap. Getting in and out was awkward too. Guests aren't given a garage remote or a pedestrian gate key, so we had to wait for the guard every time, whether leaving on foot or by car. They call it a safety measure, but standing outside at night with your family waiting for the gate to open didn't feel safe. The cleaning staff weren't helpful and kept sending us to the manager, but nothing happened. Upstairs, the air conditioner that serves the passage and two bedrooms was broken. It was hot and uncomfortable, so I bought two fans to help the children stay a little cooler. The huge bedroom windows had no curtains or blinds, which meant waking at sunrise, extra heat, and very little privacy because people could see right into the rooms.
