The view is still on my mind, and I’d love to return. My family from Zimbabwe had such a good time here, and everything felt just right. Emily was incredibly kind and attentive. Thanks so much, Emily. This is a lovely place to stay in Umdloti.

A comfortable, clean two-bedroom place with an easy, no-fuss setup. The kitchen had what we needed, including a stove and microwave, plus there was a braai. It’s a short drive to the beachfront and highly rated restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay.

I was left having to look for somewhere else to stay after the owner cancelled my confirmed Airbnb booking. I’d already paid the deposit, and this happened 10 days later. He said the December rate I had booked was wrong and too low, apparently because of his pricing mistake. His host passed the message along, and when I emailed him myself, he didn’t even reply before cancelling. Very unprofessional.

The bedding was spotless, and having WiFi was a nice bonus. I had an incredible time with my girlfriend and friends, though my girlfriend nearly drowned. I managed to pull her out.

We had such a peaceful, pleasant stay in Durban. The views were beautiful, the location was perfect, and the host made us feel very welcome. It felt like home away from home. Thank you to Umdloti and the host.
