Beverly Hills

The food spread had such a great mix of savoury bites and sweet treats, and we all loved it. We’d booked High Tea for three ladies, and The Plantation Room made our afternoon feel special, with live music, a lovely atmosphere, and wonderful staff. The champagne was a treat too. Well worth it, and I’d happily recommend it.

Jerry made dinner at The Sugar Club one of the highlights of our honeymoon. His warm manner, care, and attention to detail made us feel looked after all evening. The food was outstanding, the setting was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. At Beverly Hills Hotel in Durban, the whole stay felt special from the start. The classic character and modern elegance worked beautifully together. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, the team decorated our room and surprised us with cake and a sparkling drink. A lovely gesture, and one we won't forget. Thank you to everyone for making the trip so meaningful. We can't wait to come back.

Breakfast had a good selection, though service came and went even with plenty of staff around. Everyone was generally pleasant. The room itself was comfortable and spotless, and housekeeping and turndown kept it immaculate and well stocked each time. Some areas of the hotel feel a bit tired. I was told to use the parking area next door, but its broken barrier made getting in inconvenient each time. Still, a good stay.

We had a chai latte and a red cappuccino for an anniversary coffee, and both were delicious and comforting. It was such a peaceful, romantic place to share a special moment with my partner. A lovely spot to relax together. I'd come back for sure.
