Oyster Quays

It's a spacious, modern looking corner unit with a wraparound balcony. The place was clean and presentable, and we appreciated them accommodating our last minute request. The location is handy, with the beach and restaurants within walking distance and Gateway Mall a short drive away. There are two dedicated underground parking bays and two lifts in the building. Some things could use attention. The wooden doors were a bit hard to open and close, possibly because of the weather changes. A few rooms had loose drawers, and there was a broken lamp. The handheld shower wasn't fitted properly, and parts of the showers and drains weren't clean. The carpets had spots, so they didn't look clean even if they may have been cleaned. Basic items were missing, including room dustbins, hangers, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, and lotion. A little shelf near the entrance for shoes would also help if the carpets are staying.

We rented the spacious three bedroom apartment 904 at Oyster Quays, with a spectacular ocean view and a large wraparound balcony. But it badly needs renovation. The tiles were broken, the kitchen units were old and stained, and the carpets, bathroom tiles, and shower stalls were in really bad shape. The shattered balcony glass railings were a major safety issue. We rented from the owner, James. The advertised Wi-Fi wasn't there. When we checked in, he assured us that any problems would be dealt with right away, and agreed to come fix it at a certain time. He never showed up, despite several attempts to reach him, including by the concierge. Customer service was nonexistent. This is advertised as a high-end apartment, so inspect it, and don't pay in full. Hold some back.

I had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful, the service was amazing, and it has everything you could need.

Lots of space and a great location, and it feels very safe. The apartment could use a little attention, and there was no Wi-Fi.
