The cottage was hot when we arrived, with no air conditioning or fan, and it was dusty throughout. The toilet leaked, there was a dirty wet mop in the kitchen, and the oven was dirty as well. We only got keys for the main door, not the other doors. We checked out earlier than booked and won’t be going back.

We enjoyed our overnight stay in this cozy little log cabin. It’s self catering, with a full kitchen, fridge, built in fireplace, outdoor braai, and fire pit. The local Spar is just around the corner for groceries and extra wood. The one thing missing is secure parking, so we parked behind the cabin where it couldn’t be seen.

We had a lovely weekend in this warm, clean place that really feels like home. The owner, Sophie, is so kind. Thanks so much, we had a great time and hope to come back.

It was an awful stay. There was mould everywhere, the pillows had no pillowcases, and the beds were in a sorry state. The toilet leaked and flooded the bathroom, which my partner had to fix.
