The Underberg area has plenty to do, from outdoor activities to restaurants, and the cottage is in a great central spot that still feels wild. It’s safe, pet friendly, and affordable, with clean, well equipped kitchen facilities and comfortable beds. My friend and I loved staying the night in this cozy cottage. The creative styling and mountain views are wonderful, and the care shows in everything from the interior design to the accommodation choices. There’s a labeled illustration of the mountain range positioned so you can compare it with the real thing. Sherry, tea, and coffee are provided, and the host and other staff were lovely and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend.

We felt right at home and are already eager to come back. The place was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we could need, from spices and cutlery to firewood. Keryn was amazing from the time I booked until a few hours after check-in. I can’t thank her enough. Love this place, highly recommend!

We ate and slept really well, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into what guests might need. The bedrooms and lounge are beautifully decorated. In the kitchen we had everything we needed, plus an espresso machine, honesty bar, and delicious rusks. The cottage sits just outside Underberg, with stunning Drakensberg views from the front porch, where there’s seating so you can make the most of them.

We especially loved having access to the pool. My niece had so much fun swimming there, thank you! The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. It felt like a peaceful home away from home, with perfect rooms and service. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Hopefully we’ll be back soon. Highly recommend.

Lovely owners, and the house had everything we needed. It’s close to town and has a lovely pool too. Beautiful place to stay!
