Kalahari Mall is just around the corner, with plenty of dining choices. We found the place safe, with secure parking, and kid friendly, though little ones need watching near the pool. The children and adults all enjoyed swimming. One pool wasn't very clean because of some kind of pump problem, while the other was clean. There's also a shared braai area you can book, and breakfast was filling if booked ahead. We stayed two days with the family on our way to Bloem, after I'd had my eye on the place for a while. The rooms were clean, and the people at reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. A really lovely stay, thank you. Hope to see you again soon, and keep up the food work.

The only problem my colleague and I ran into was the DSTV. It only had channel 100, with all the others missing or inactive. Otherwise, the rooms were cozy and well kept, and the owner was very friendly and hospitable. It's close to town, and I was comfortable throughout the stay. I'll definitely book again on my next trip to Upington.

There's a cool pool on site for those hot Northern Cape days, plus safe undercover parking right by the room. The place is in central Upington, near the Mall and its restaurants, which is handy. Rooms are set up well for business travelers and have what you need for self catering. Breakfast choices are very good and reasonably priced. A comfortable stay.

The rooms and garden are nice, but the check-in was ridiculous. My company had already paid, yet I still had to scan my ID and fill in my address. When I asked about it, the receptionist was unfriendly and had a yacky attitude. And does having a microwave and bar fridge count as self catering? I won't stay there again.

Each room has its own private patio, which I loved. Ours was spacious, beautifully decorated with the owner's art, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The homemade rusks were a lovely treat, thank you. The garden was beautiful and the staff friendly. A lovely stay, definitely worth it and highly recommended.
