We had a wonderful room looking out over the Orangeriver, and enjoyed a sundowner on the deck right beside it. The host gave us a friendly welcome, and breakfast the next morning was great, just enough to fuel us for the day's adventure to our next destination. What an awesome experience. Thanks, Moonriver. We'll definitely see you again.

We were staying for work, and they found a safe spot for my car and trailer, making room for both. The room was lovely too, with wonderfully cool air conditioning, much appreciated 😂. Best service I've ever had at a guest house. They really go the extra mile for guests 👏👏👏. I'd definitely stay here again.

The setting on the Orange River is lovely, and the accommodation felt secure. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast staff were lovely too. Breakfast was adequate. We stayed in the so-called honeymoon suite, which had a fabulous bath and shower, but the open-plan bathroom and lack of space for toiletries or seating didn't work for us. The linen was tired, and the decor wasn't our taste.

A lovely place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

The only drawback was the parking, where you may have to park over steel rods above a river. But if I return, it'll be because of Louw at reception. He was one of the best hosts I've come across, always ready to help and go out of his way to get things sorted. He even helped us extend our stay by another night.
