We had a wonderful stay at Tramonto Lodge with family members in September 2023. The owner was warm, welcoming and very helpful. Our double room unit had what we needed for self-catering, from crockery to a TV, and there was a braai area right outside. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. There’s safe parking, and the area is quiet. A solar system was being installed during our visit. We didn’t get the full benefit of it yet, but it should add a lot to the comfort for future guests.

There was plenty of space, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, though the microwave unfortunately didn’t work. Parking felt safe, with lots of room to hang out outside. The place was clean and well cared for, you can tell the owners care about the property and their guests.

It feels like a home away from home. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. Thanks, Tannie. Definitely booking again, top billings.

We’re having such a lovely holiday. The hosts are professional, polite and kind, and the area is quiet. Outside there’s a lovely garden with a pool, plus a braai area that’s covered if it rains. The one-bedroom unit has a full kitchen with a stove, kettle, toaster, sugar, tea, coffee and milk, as well as a good-size fridge for groceries. There’s a shower, TV channels and aircon. The room has an extra single bed, and there are two more single beds too.

We arrived in Upington late on Sunday afternoon with no booking, and the owner was very welcoming. The place was clean and tidy, and the price was great. We needed somewhere for one night, and this was just right.
