We had a blast and would definitely go back. There’s plenty of entertainment for adults and children, and it’s a beautiful, amazing place for the whole family.

I’m beyond disappointed. We paid a lot for this family outing and for the parking spaces at chalets 74 and 75, booked from the 15th to the 17th, yet someone kept using our space. This was the second night we were kept awake until 2am over it. On the first night we told security, but they didn’t get the car moved until 11am on the 16th. Tonight the same car was back in our parking spot. We waited outside in the cold, and the security supervisor took more than an hour to come help. I got no assistance during that wait. Then, at 02:10, security called me outside to move my car because they’d apparently found the owner of the other vehicle and got him to move it, only after I threatened to report them to the highest level. How does security not know who the car belongs to, or where it should be? We paid for that space, so someone else shouldn’t get to use it. This treatment is unacceptable, and I’ll never recommend staying here.

Getting to the padel courts is a hassle. You have to go through the Aquasone area, which feels out of place, and arriving early is a problem every time, especially when Aquasone is closed and you have to find another way in. The courts really need their own entrance. It feels like an obstacle course. Once you’re there, though, the courts at Emerald Casino and resort are lovely, well-maintained and set among nature. The outdoor bar, music and complimentary water are nice extras. Bar staff are friendly, and the drinks and cocktails on tap are excellent, though the prices are steep and could put people off visiting often.

The animal park was upsetting to visit. The enclosures and animals seemed to be in poor condition: the ponds had stagnant, unfiltered water, the bird cages weren’t clean, and pigeons could get into them and spread disease. The wild cats had no toys to stimulate them. There was more and more to point out. Leadership should be held accountable for the animal neglect and for damaging the brand.
