At Botle ba Africa, we waited more than five minutes to be let in, then found the pool extremely cold. Staff confirmed the water was cold, but nobody told us beforehand that it wasn’t heated, and we were still charged. They said our refund would come within three days, but a week passed with nothing done. When we followed up, the receptionist was rude and dismissive and offered a “chillas” instead of sorting it out. There was no apology or accountability. This was the worst service I’ve experienced.

We had to shower with cold water. Apparently, four rooms share just two geysers.

We spent 1 January here celebrating, and it was lit. A nice spot for a day out.

The staff gave me such a warm, friendly welcome, which was heartwarming. There was an issue with my room’s sliding door, but they fixed it and kept me updated when there was a delay. This place is a gem!
