It cost less than the other options and the staff were friendly, but I didn’t enjoy the night. There were cockroaches in the room, and our other room had no hot water. The towels were worn and frayed, the beds came with only a sheet and blanket, and a truck’s generator ran through the night.

The owner is very nice and listens well. Still, I wouldn’t book here for a big group or team. It seems more suited to one person or a couple, and the catering wasn’t up to standard until we complained.

Warm, welcoming staff and a simple, refreshing place to stay. It’s very affordable for the price. I’ve stayed here a few times, though, and feel the place could use a facelift.

The staff were friendly and let us check in early, but the room was too hot without air conditioning. The blinds were broken, so people outside could see the bed; we had to move it away from the wall for privacy. The shower was so dirty I had to wear shoes, and the floors were dirty too. People outside were very loud, and I couldn’t sleep past six in the morning. I won’t stay there again.

I was disappointed that the self-catering setup had no cutlery, dishes or glasses. There’s no DStv, the TV screen is too small, and the bedding could be more modern. The place could use some refurbishment.
