The safari was a highlight, especially watching how much respect Marcel showed for the wildlife and the bush. From the moment we reached the park gate until we left, the whole team looked after us so well. Isabella, Marcel and everyone else made sure we had everything we needed, and Tumi gave my wife a wonderful massage between drives. The facilities were just right, and the food and drinks were delicious. Honestly, wow. One of the best experiences we’ve had in ages.

Keegan made the safaris special. He’s so skilled, noticing and hearing everything, and the staff were exceptionally kind throughout. We loved the beautiful room and its stunning view across the park, especially the lovely bathroom with an outdoor shower. The food was delicious, and the whole stay felt personal. Everything was fantastic. If you’re after an amazing holiday, don’t miss this experience.

Our two nights at Nungubane in April 2026 felt like being welcomed into another world. Keegan hosted us, Bertus guided us, and the entire team pampered us in a way we’ve never experienced before. The personal care ran through every part of the stay, and the safari was incredible too. Coming back to Nungubane and Welgevonden would be a real privilege. I’d recommend Nungubane to anyone.

The connection between the Nungubane team really makes this place special. With Keegan and Kyra’s kind guidance, every team member went out of their way to make us feel at home. Marcel, our ranger, also worked hard to make our wish list a priority, and the bush never disappoints. The food is amazing too. Nungubane feels like a little piece of heaven, and one of those lodges you just have to return to. Thanks for another amazing visit. We can’t wait to come back.

Just got back from a restful break at this game lodge, and it was well worth the visit. The surroundings are beautiful, green and peaceful, and the dedicated team provided excellent service every day. The rangers found game on great drives through the vast reserve in the Waterberg, Limpopo.
