We spent three nights at Dune Beach House and loved it. The beach is right there, and we watched dolphins from our room every day. Rain or shine, it was lovely to sit and take in the view or head out for a walk along the shore. Bernie and everyone on the team made us feel at home straight away. The daily homemade cake was a lovely touch, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and there was guest parking too. We'd happily return, and I think anyone driving the Garden Route should stay at least two nights.

We enjoyed it so much that we nearly added more time to our four-night stay. Being close to the ocean, the breakfast, and the warm hospitality from Celeste & Bernie made it memorable. We'll definitely be back.

We had a great time chatting rugby with Bernie, who made us feel very welcome. Our room had everything we needed, and the breakfast was great. The guesthouse has wonderful views and direct beach access, and the beach bags and deck chairs came in handy. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Wilderness.

The room was clean, lovely, and had a great view, but we didn't feel welcome and I mainly wanted to leave. My mom is elderly and Muslim. When we arrived, there was nobody else in the lounge, so she asked Rose to turn off the music. Rose raised her voice and said nobody should tell her what to do because it was her place. She could have said no more respectfully. We've asked many places to turn music off before, and some did so kindly while others declined politely. We'd paid quite a lot for breakfast. They served pancakes and fruit, and the omelettes were made to order. Each of us ordered one, and they were delicious. My mom ate hers on its own, without carbs, and wanted another. Since the booking hadn't stated any limit, she asked Rose for one, but Rose gave her a very disgusted look, as though she'd asked for 100 eggs. She did make it, but the way she acted was unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected.
