We felt at home here, thanks to the owners checking in throughout our visit and making sure everything suited us. The separate accommodation units are spread around the property, each with its own entrance, and they were clean, comfortable, and serviced regularly. On hot days when the wind made the beach less appealing, the pool was a welcome extra. The maintenance staff were friendly, around each day, and ready to help. A great, central base for visiting the Garden route.

Hein really made our stay at Waterside Lodge Guest House special. He was warm and welcoming, shared useful local tips, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The lodge itself is in a lovely spot, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings. We enjoyed the setting by the water and the sunset views. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, with cozy beds and thoughtful decor. The location also made it easy to reach nearby attractions while still feeling like a quiet retreat. Waterside Lodge Guest House is a memorable place to unwind, and Hein is a big part of that.

Hilda was kind and helpful, and we had a really lovely stay. The lodge is close to the restaurants and board walk. There are plenty of cupboards, though a few more shelves could be useful, and perhaps a larger fridge someday. All in all, a very nice place.

We loved the views and the location. Restaurants, the supermarket, and activities are all an easy walk away. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the staff were lovely. Definitely worth it!

The hosts were so caring, and the service was excellent. It's ideally placed near the beach, lagoon, and restaurants, too. Loved this place!
