A lovely little hidden gem tucked away in Witsand.

As a Superhost on AirBB myself, I can honestly say that our 7-night stay at Roes en Vrede Small House in Witsand was excellent. The place matched its Airbnb listing from the moment we got there, and in some ways was even better than the photos. Everything was working properly and clearly looked after. It suited our family of four well: comfortable, practical, and easy to keep clean and organized. The loft gave the kids their own spot to play and relax, which made the stay more fun for everyone. The host was warm, quick to respond, and clearly cared about making sure guests had a good visit. Communication was easy the whole time. The house is also in a great spot, a short walk from a stunning tidal pool and a quiet, safe beach that never seemed crowded. There was a charming little restaurant nearby too. Our kids especially loved the freedom in Duinepark. They made friends and rode their bikes around safely in the evenings, which felt rare and special. The place was also very good value, with what we needed for a comfortable, memorable break and no unnecessary fuss. A few practical details: the beds are standard length. Parking caused no trouble, and the neighbours were helpful and accommodating. The paving in front was a good place for a Weber braai, with enough natural shade that we didn't use the gazebo. The loft got quite warm even with the two portable fans, but we managed. Waste is collected on Fridays and Mondays. We wouldn't change anything about our stay.
