Swept Away Guest House

The breakfast arrangement left me confused. I received gift cards for selected restaurants, but they didn’t come with a discount or special deal, and they just limited where I could spend my money. I’d rather have paid for breakfast myself wherever I wanted. Maybe skip offering breakfast if it isn’t provided on site. The guest home was super quiet and relaxing, and because we visited out of season, we had the whole place to ourselves. The host was great and attentive even though they weren’t on site.

Mark was a super friendly, helpful and professional host. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, and the view across the pristine beach to Table Mountain in the distance was impressive. The establishment is conveniently placed near the beaches and town, with easy access to some of Yzerfontein's fabulous restaurants. I had a wonderful stay at "Swept Away" and would happily recommend it.

The room was immaculate, beautifully furnished and had all the amenities I needed. I worked on my laptop there during the day, and the quiet space, fast reliable Wi-Fi and comfortable desk setup made that easy, with those mesmerizing ocean views to enjoy. The host was so thoughtful with a few niche requests, and gave me vouchers for breakfast at a nearby café. That turned out to be a fantastic recommendation, with perfect food and atmosphere to start the day. I felt at home from the moment I arrived, thanks to the warm welcome. The ocean views are breathtaking, and the setting is peaceful and beautiful, with sweeping panoramas that made mornings and evenings feel like a postcard. In the evenings, I went out to meet locals for dinner at a restaurant the host recommended, and it blew my mind. The food, ambiance and service were outstanding, a real highlight of my trip. This guesthouse gave me a memorable stay, with a welcoming atmosphere, jaw-dropping views and thoughtful touches. I’d highly recommend it for a coastal retreat.

The Atlantic views made our stay in Yzerfontein feel special. We had a clean, comfortable room with everything we needed, and the accommodation was beautiful. A memorable five-star experience in this lovely West Coast town.
