The toilet stopped working, and there were no other rooms available. Since I was paying, they should at least have offered a workaround, like a bucket of water, instead of leaving me to figure it out alone. It wasn't all bad, but they need to handle problems better.

The beds were clean, though the mats were dirty, and the service felt like we were bothering them. We asked for food at 20.18 and were told the kitchen was closed. At 20.30 they wouldn't give us drinks or water for the same reason, even though I had two babies with me. Sadly, this is the best-looking lodge in Kalomo.

I'm in room 2 right now, and I've had a great stay. The rooms are good and the hospitality is great. This is the best lodge I've found in Kalomo, and I'd recommend First City Lodge to anyone visiting.

The room was clean and roomy, but the bathroom had issues: the water pressure was weak and the sink leaked. We paid for an AC room, yet couldn't adjust how cool it was set to be. By midnight we were hot and had to rely on the fan.
