Despite what the rent cost, this was the worst place I’ve stayed. Don’t stay here. The AC didn’t work, and they wouldn’t give us the remote to adjust its temperature. It was leaking too, leaving water all over the floor. We asked them to fix it or move us to another room, but they did neither. The linens weren’t washed or clean.

Sunset Junction Lodge used to be one of Livingstone’s elite lodges, but somewhere along the way it lost that standing. I think the constant staff turnover, especially among managers, is part of the problem. The food is horrible now, with ingredients that seem to sit around too long, and it takes ages to prepare. I think they could do better.

The place needs a major overhaul. The accommodation is moderate, and the food is okay, though breakfast could be improved. The bigger problem is the water. It often isn’t running and can stop halfway through a shower, while it takes an extremely long time to get a response.
