The staff welcomed me so warmly when I arrived at The Royal Sichango Village, and they let me check in early. After another host cancelled at the last minute, finding this place felt like a blessing in disguise. My standalone bungalow was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It had an AC, but the room stayed pleasant naturally, so I never needed to turn it on. Darius, the property manager, deserves special thanks for his exceptional hospitality. He, Enivia, Roland, and the rest of the team were genuinely warm and attentive, and made the stay memorable. The village is in a quiet, peaceful area, just a short distance from the breathtaking Victoria Falls. It was a lovely balance of being close to the attractions and having somewhere serene to relax. I highly recommend The Royal Sichango Village to anyone visiting Livingstone. It's a gem, made even better by the kind people who run it.

Darius was especially helpful and arranged a driver I could coordinate with on WhatsApp. The whole team went out of their way for me: they got a badly creased shirt ironed in time for a wedding, brought bottled water late at night, and washed my swimming shorts after monkeys had been playing with them. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the village-style resort was peaceful. Thanks to everyone at Royal Sichango Village Hotel!

The bed was super comfortable, and the lodge was quiet enough for a really good night's sleep. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sichango Village Lodge. Highly recommended if you're after peace and comfort.

Darius is the professional who brings it all together. The staff were amazing, and nothing seemed to be a problem. The rooms were very clean, too. Animals wander around freely in the mornings, and we even had elephants chap us up. I've stayed in very few places with this much attention to detail. It beats the pretentious five-star hotels hands down and is at the top of my list for an ultimate African experience. Wow, that's all I can say.

Elephants and hippos sometimes wander right through the site, along with monkeys and baboons. My dogs were welcomed and enjoyed by the staff, so I ended up staying for two weeks and enjoyed my time there. Royal sichango, formerly bushbuck camp, is quiet and peaceful, with lovely, clean, air-conditioned chalets at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, and management can arrange tours such as game drives and white water rafting.
