8/10
The location is excellent, close to most activities, and the staff were great. The surroundings are ideal for morning walks. The property needs some care and would benefit from a refurbishment. To set expectations, water wasn't always available, the noisy air conditioning didn't cool the bedrooms properly, and there was none in the living area. The beds weren't very comfortable, and the bathrooms felt dated.

There's plenty of parking, and the kids had room to play, including a playground. The location is perfect. The apartment was lovely, with a kitchen and separate en suite rooms. WiFi didn't reach our rooms, so the kids camped out by the office block. For a swim, the neighbouring hotel lets four people use its pool for about K200, at 2023 prices.

The air conditioners either didn't work or weren't effective. The apartments are old and need a fresh touch. We were only coming back to sleep, thankfully. The place has lots of potential if they pay attention to it and refurbish it.

The apartments are decent, the staff are friendly, and the location is quiet, though you may occasionally hear a train. They get full during holidays. The entrance is the same as at protea Hotel Livingston: drive straight past the hotel's main entrance and you'll find the appartment at the end of the road.

Affordable self-catering apartments in a lush setting, on the main road to the Victoria Falls. The staff are very friendly, and it's great value for money.
