4/10
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food choices were good. I also liked the old-world feel and the central location, right by a gas station and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. Still, I wouldn't stay again. By Western standards the place feels decades out of date, like the 60s. The room and bathroom seem not to have been updated in 40 years, and everything looks grimy and dull with no real color scheme. There's no insulation, so street and corridor noise carries straight into the room. The doorman kept following us to carry our bags even after we said we didn't need help. If you want a better stay in a holiday-in

The food was good, and the views across Bulawayo town were lovely. The hotel is attractive and has a setup that accommodates wheelchairs. I did end up having cold water for my bath now and then, though, and the engineer gave a lame excuse when I raised it.

There are resting rooms and quite a range of meals here. It seems like a nice place to bring your partner or family to enjoy the comfortable food and high standard.

The service was good, and the staff welcomed us and treated us warmly, like kings and queens.

The staff were super helpful. During customer care week, I won a gift by popping a balloon.
