The price was very reasonable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There weren’t enough fans or air conditioning, though luckily the weather wasn’t too hot.

There are different kinds of beds to choose from, along with bed and breakfast, a pool, a game centre, gardens, and places to relax. The sunsets are beautiful. This out of town hideaway feels like an exotic getaway, with lots of parrots around the poolside workspace. If you’re lucky, the 30+ year old Cuckatoo might greet you and say hello.

On a hot day, you can cool off with a swim and then sit under a gazebo for traditional Zimbabwean food. Parrot Lodge feels like good value for the money, and the staff are friendly with a strong focus on customer service. Parrots greet you when you arrive.
