Whether you're here for business or a break, I can't recommend Armadale highly enough. It's our happy place in Harare, a little oasis where we felt right at home and were looked after so thoughtfully. Nikki outdoes herself every time with such warm hospitality. Over my stay of more than 3 weeks, the roominess and thoughtful layout of the kitchenette rooms stood out, along with their cathedral ceilings. Laundry was complimentary, and the place is reasonably priced for what it offers in an expensive city like Harare. I recommend Armadale Boutique Hotel for short or long stays. The staff and owner were attentive throughout. Ashleigh, the front office manager, Nikki the owner, and Singy from room service all helped make my visit enjoyable. Chef Samantha and her support Fari also worked to understand my diet and help me out. There's a swimming pool, which is a real plus on a hot sunny afternoon. The neighborhood felt safe, so I could jog for miles early in the morning or after work. A mall is within walking distance, about 0.6 mile away.

I spent a little over an hour there taking photos for a friend hosting an anniversary dinner. The place is amazing, and I ended up taking a few pictures to capture and share how lovely it is. I arrived at 7pm, so didn't get a proper look at the garden, though I've heard it's very nice. I'd love another chance to visit this hidden treasure. I'd recommend it for hosting guests who want the comforts of a 5 start hotel without the crowds of a big, busy one.

The only thing I personally missed was a gym, though the excellent profitness gym is just a 15 walk away. Internet was reliable and included in the room rate, but getting online with vouchers was a little cumbersome. The rooms are excellent, with private gardens, and the setting and service are lovely. It's a very different feel from an average business hotel. Breakfast is included in the room price, and the full English is excellent. The dinner menu is a bit limited, but the food is very good, arrives on time, and comes with excellent service. Room prices are modest, especially with laundry included. Very warmly recommended!

Sometimes you just want to get away from the crowds and your thoughts, and have a bit of time alone. If that sounds familiar, you're normal! Armadale is a good place for that. Clean surroundings, friendly and professional staff, and great food. It's a calm kind of place 😊
