Eastlea Guest House

Eastlea Guesthouse felt grand, and my room had everything I needed. It’s only about five minutes from the CBD, with shops, restaurants and malls nearby. I stayed Thursday night and loved it. I’d definitely recommend it, and I’m very tempted to come back.

I’ve stayed here twice already and would happily return. For the price, it’s the best lodge I’ve visited so far in Harare. The rooms are consistently neat and well maintained, customer care is good, and breakfast comes at the time you request. Just make sure each bathroom has soap and towels, and check that the appliances work. Our room had a fan, but it wasn’t working. Keep it up, guys.

The rooms are cozy and smart, and having backup power and warm water was great. The guesthouse is close to the CBD, which is handy, and the service was good. I enjoyed staying here and will call again soon. One improvement would be a closed shower cubicle, since water splashes onto the bathroom floor.

I really liked the garden salad Chipo makes. Joylene kept my room tidy, and George checked that I had everything else I needed and was comfortable. The staff were all friendly. The room also had a desk and chair that came in handy while I worked, plus a kettle for making tea whenever I wanted. It’s a peaceful place, with neat rooms, shiny floors and trimmed grass outside. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone needing somewhere to stay.
