This was my second stay here. The staff are very nice, but the hotel needs maintenance and some TLC. The manager or owner lied to guests, saying load shedding meant they couldn't turn on the air conditioning. When I questioned that and asked for the load shedding schedule, the air conditioners suddenly came on. Some menu items weren't available, and the breakfast offering left a lot to be desired. The worst part was paying: they refused my $100 bills, treated me like a criminal, and wouldn't let me leave until my transfer appeared in their account. I gave them another chance, but this time they charged me in dollars while sending an invoice in Rands, using an exchange rate of R18 to the dollar instead of the current R15.77. When I questioned it, they said it was policy. There are better, more beautiful options nearby that would really appreciate your business.

My last night in Zim turned out so well here. Everything was incredibly clean, the staff were really friendly, and breakfast was included and great. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The rooms were roomy and clean, and the nearby mall came in handy. We felt very welcome throughout our stay, thanks to the friendly staff and excellent service.

That electric blanket was already on and waiting for me, such a lovely touch. Housekeeping and the rest of the staff were amazing, and I really enjoyed the service and complimentary breakfast. It’s a great all-round place and felt safe for me travelling solo. I’d happily recommend it.

It was nice not to feel crowded, and the yard and lawn were kept in good shape. The place was clean, and the service was very good too.
