The rooms and food were good, and the location gives the hotel a nice view, though bushes block much of it. The place is hard to find without roadside signs or branding. I also found it overpriced. Check-in took more than 30 minutes because the POS machine wasn't working, so bring cash and some change. I had to ask the owner to turn on the solar backup, and the next morning there was no cold water for a bath.

I paid 90 USD for a night, which is more than in Harare. There was no electricity overnight. Worst hotel I've experienced.

The breakfast was good, and the waitress was friendly. Getting there was difficult because there was no signboard on the road. Although we'd paid for a twin room, they asked us for another 20 dollars instead of giving us one over a double. The room we eventually got was tiny, and the shower leaked all over the floor.

I was paying 65 dollars a day, which isn't a small amount in Zimbabwe. In Mutoko, that would get me a luxury room, but I wasn't comfortable here. There was no electricity all night, even though staff kept saying it would be back in 30 minutes or an hour. When I asked about rooms with electricity, staff said those cost 150 dollars a day.

The staff were friendly, which was a big plus. During my stay, the water was unavailable for a day, ZESA was out for two days, and the internet password changed every day. The rooms are also very small.
