Kavinga Safari Camp

We felt welcome and well cared for throughout our stay at Kavinga Camp. As two Australian women travelling together, we were comfortable with all the staff. Our guide Liam was fantastic, and his enthusiasm and wildlife knowledge made the drives memorable. We were lucky to see leopard, hyena, elephants, impala, and plenty more. The accommodation was beautiful, the food excellent, and the tours outstanding. We couldn't fault the team or our experience. Thank you for an unforgettable safari.

Jade and Blade treated our group of six friends and family like royalty during our three days at Kavinga. The drives were excellent, and the staff knew their stuff. We were especially pleased by the gourmet meals, served three times a day. We flew into the nearby grass runway, then drove about 20 minutes to the lodge.

We saw leopards, hyena, elephants, eagles, huge buffalo herds, and lions right at camp, with even more wildlife during the drives. The hides let you watch incredible animals before you've gone anywhere. The guides were friendly and knew so much, and they were happy to shape the drives around what we wanted to see. The Carmine bee-eater colony made for a great evening outing. The rooms are exceptional, each with a lovely escarpment view. The food was very good too, and you'll certainly have plenty to eat.

A lion appeared from the balcony within the first 24 hours of my four-day stay at Kavinga Safari Camp, which was amazing. The food, wildlife, and service were outstanding. The caring, professional staff clearly love wildlife, and the camp is in a very special part of Zimbabwe. I'm already planning to come back.
