Musangano Lodge

The restaurant was a good choice, especially for the local dishes, and it didn't disappoint. After the long drive from the west of Zimbabwe, Musangano lodge felt like an oasis. It's just outside Mutare, away from the town's hustle and bustle but still close to attractions such as Lake Alexander, Bunga and Vumba reserves, and others. The grounds were peaceful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the nature walks to the chalets and villas, and longer hikes can also be accessed from the property. The villas are spacious and have self-catering amenities. Great value for money, and I'd highly recommend Musangano lodge.

We had a nice stay at Musangano Lodge. The rooms are clean and pleasant, and it's a lovely place. The food was good, though a few more recipes on the menu could help. Access is easy, with the lodge 1.5km from Mutare Highway, but the gravel road may need maintenance, especially in the rainy season.

The food was delicious, and I loved how the decor fits in with nature. Musangano Lodge is a quiet spot for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. It's a hidden gem 40km from Mutare and worth every penny. The chalets are very big, with large bathrooms and Free wifi. The service was top notch, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I'll definitely return, this time for several days ❤
