Batonka is a peaceful little sanctuary in Victoria falls. It’s a bit outside town, but our tours included pre-booked transfers, and the lodge also runs a daily shuttle. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. We loved the grounds and the pool was a great spot to cool off. All-day dining is available in house, and every meal was delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I especially enjoyed chatting with the general manager Sarah, who shared her knowledge of Victoria Falls and helped us make the most of our stay.

What makes Batonka Guest Lodge special is its overall culture. The service throughout is exemplary, the food and wine list are excellent, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. It’s a wonderful oasis in Victoria Falls. If I return to Vic Falls, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you, Batonka!

Batonka Guest Lodge was a gorgeous oasis in the heart of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We had a beautiful stay, with clean rooms and staff who were incredibly friendly and hospitable.

We found Batonka Guest Lodge very pleasant, with a neat feel and a touch of colonial charm. It’s conveniently located 800 meters from the town center. The terrace and garden are lovely, and the pool makes it a nice place to unwind. Our spacious, well-appointed room had everything we needed, and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely recommend it for a visit to Victoria Falls.
