The local-brand fried cheese came wonderfully served in a pan, and the tea and coffee were good too. Paying with AmEx or Visa is sometimes possible, though it isn't guaranteed. I don't know whether they speak English. Russian is available by default.

The chicken noodles turned out to be a certified Doshirak that cost 700 rubles. We also ordered house wine and received mulled wine overloaded with spices instead.

We left after an hour without ever receiving our shashlik, and we definitely don't recommend this establishment. On August 22, 2024, my friend and I stopped there for local food during our first trip to Abkhazia. The restaurant prices were rather high, but we ordered two portions of pork shashlik and a compote made like orange-lemon lemonade. The waitress, Laura Laura on the receipt, warned us about a 35-40 minute wait, so we agreed. After an hour, she had apparently been hiding from us, and only after we called her over and asked her to check with the chef did another waitress come out three minutes later to say the meat had burned. Meanwhile, people who arrived afterward were being served every 5-10 minutes while we sat there waiting like idiots. The service was terrible.

A live fireplace added to the natural, cozy atmosphere of this pleasant cafe. The staff were polite and the food was delicious. We ordered a pot of black tea, fluffy flatbread, crispy eggplant, fries, and chicken fillet with mushrooms. The total came to 1,770 rubles, and we left full.
