The beach is beautiful and just five steps from the hotel, which made us like the place so much that we added an extra day. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, and the children loved them. Rooms were kept tidy every day, towels were changed, and bed linen could be replaced on request. Airport transfers and excursions around the beauty of Abkhazia are available too. The receptionists were polite. I recommend Bella Hotel to everyone.

The location is excellent, between new and old Gagra, with the sea only 50 meters away. The staff were very friendly, and I especially appreciated being allowed an early check-in and late check-out since we arrived by train. Excursions and taxis can be arranged directly through the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious. We'll definitely come back.

The biggest problem happened in November 2024. The hotel grounds were behind a tall fence topped with spikes, and both the lobby door and the gate were locked at 11:00 PM. We came back at 12:00 AM, rang every bell, and called the numbers on the official website, but got no response. We stood outside for 15 minutes. My friend then climbed the fence and knocked on the lobby door and first-floor windows for another 15 minutes, while the concierge slept through all of it. I eventually started shouting, and a kind man in black shorts was woken by the noise and went to get the receptionist. After about 40 minutes, she appeared looking as if she'd just woken up, denied hearing the bell or knocking, and argued that shouting was unnecessary. The owner apologized in the morning after discovering 10 missed calls on her phone and asked how they could make amends. We were already checking out and had no time, so there was no compensation. Nobody contacted me later or offered any. We arrived only an hour after curfew and spent 40 minutes trying to get inside, with no help beyond a rushed apology. It was completely irresponsible and made the stay very uncomfortable. Breakfast was also extremely limited, perhaps because this was November. There were only two options for all four days. The room had to be paid for in cash or by bank transfer, so there was no cashback. Finally, my windows faced a "shady joint" where music, especially in November, played loudly late enough to be clearly heard.

The sea is less than a minute away, and the courtyard is cozy. Breakfast is included in the room price, with a good selection suitable for children and adults. The staff are polite, available whenever needed, and happy to explain things or help. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are replaced every day, and bed linen is changed every three days. There is also a kettle, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, and slippers in the room. Excursions can be booked at the hotel, with pickup and drop-off nearby, and a shuttle service is available. Cafes, canteens, and shops are within walking distance. Depending on the room, you can see the sea or mountains. Guests arriving on their birthday receive a nice bonus. Of all the hotels I stayed in in Abkhazia, this was the best.
