Our stay at Lermontov Guest House from September 25th to October 1st, 2023, turned out wonderfully. The warm weather, clear sea, and cozy accommodation all helped, but Tamara and Elena Grigoryevna especially stood out for their caring, attentive, and helpful attitude toward guests. The grounds were clean and well kept, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The sea is 1 km away, about a 10-20-minute walk. Getting into and out of the water is difficult because of the large pebbles, although special swimming shoes from the local market solve that quickly. A shuttle to the border is available, and interesting excursions can be arranged. The staff are clearly professionals. Thank you for a comfortable and wonderful vacation.

The garden is bigger than the rooms, with level spots that are perfect for yoga. In October we had the whole yard to ourselves, which was lovely. The rooms were tidy, the beds soft, and the fresh air made for quiet, restful sleep after the city. The sea is only a short jog away, and we prepared breakfast in the summer kitchen. The hosts were welcoming without being overly familiar. Everything was straightforward and to the point, which suited me. I only wish we'd had more than one night in Gudauta. I want to return. Good luck to the owners of this lovely house and its beautiful garden!
