The hotel offers a beautiful view of Pitsunda. Guests can reach the sea by the scheduled electric car or walk for about 20 minutes through the private sector. The grounds are spacious, with parking and a playground, and there is a restaurant on site. Buffet breakfasts are also available.

The staff were genuinely attentive and welcoming, and the hotel is well organized. It sits high on a mountain, so I wouldn't suggest it for families with small children unless they have a car. Power cuts happen, apparently like everywhere there, which means the air conditioners don't always work. There are also strong drain smells, but those weren't what lowered my rating. We could have lived with all of that. The real problem came on our final day after a 14-day stay. At the kitchen, pay each time, even if the girls ask you to settle it later. We ended up paying for dinner, possibly more than one meal, twice because they didn't remember we'd already paid. We definitely won't return, and that left a very unpleasant feeling.

The view is beautiful, but I can't see staying here for that alone, since other hotels have views just as good. Getting there is unpleasant. The road is in poor shape, there are no signs from the main street for people walking, and the route has no streetlights, so it gets dark in the evening. The hill is also full of roaming cows that urinate wherever they want, including on the hotel grounds. The beach is about a 25-minute walk away at an easy pace, not somewhere you'd run to.

This is a very quiet place, which made it great for our family holiday. The sea is only 3-5 minutes away, and there are shops close by. Our room was clean, with towels and bed linen changed regularly, and the air was wonderfully clear. The food was delicious too. We had parking beside the building, plus a barbecue, and even the standard rooms have beautiful views through the panoramic windows. Arguably the best hotel on the coast. I recommend it.
