Resort San-Lora

The best part is the beach, at least in our experience after walking along the whole thing. It has very short access from the hotel, and the courtyard, prices, and food at the cafe were all delightful. We would definitely return. The only blemish was the cleaning: daily room cleaning and towel changes cost extra, and the floor still had sand on it when we arrived, so we took off our shoes and put on slippers straight away.

The hotel is new and the rooms are clean, and being close to the sea is convenient, although the center is a long way off. A few practical details were disappointing: parking is paid at the neighboring hotel, the cafe and bar shut in October, and there was no towel dryer. For 4,000 rubles, the room also had neither slippers nor shampoo.

The staff were especially good, friendly and pleasant without being intrusive. The sea is only about 70 meters away, with clean water, a gently sloping shore, and a pebbly beach, though it is naturally crowded. Loungers and umbrellas cost 200 rubles a day. The rooms are small, and there is barely any difference between a suite and a regular room. The tiny freestanding refrigerator feels almost decorative, but the air conditioning is excellent, making the tiled floor ice-cold within about 20 minutes. There is a cafe, although something is always unavailable, whether bread, pancakes, cheesecakes, or coffee. The 3 by 6 meter pool is around 1.6 meters deep and good for children. We may also have been lucky with the guests, since most had children but things stayed quiet and reasonable.

Even during a natural disaster, the hotel managed well, with the lights and electricity on almost all the time. The sea is conveniently close, the internet was reliable, and the air conditioning, food, and regular cleaning were all good. The staff were wonderful too. I RECOMMEND this hotel.
