Nikopoli Hotel

We stayed from May 8th to 9th, 2025, then left because another night was impossible. The large rooms felt like hospital wards, with badly worn walls and furniture. Outside, there was no view at all, only a construction site, barracks, and sheds. Parking held just two or three cars, and the steep exit made it easy to damage a bumper. The food was awful. Even the buckwheat was cooked badly, and the meals were nowhere near home cooking. The tea and coffee were basically colored water. Everything suggested the lowest possible standard, not even one star. The management was also extremely rude, acting as though checking us in was a favor. We found another hotel with better comfort and food for less money. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place, so don’t ruin your vacation.

A group of children and I spent a week here in April and felt comfortable throughout. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and housekeeping included cleaning the room and changing the towels. The staff were polite and friendly too. The location was especially convenient. Meals were arranged at a nearby cafe, which made things much easier for us. New Athos itself is a wonderful place, and we’d like to return. Thank you very much.

Marina, the manager, gives the hotel a really welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you feel the positive energy, and she makes you feel at ease. The rest of the staff were friendly as well. I stayed in two cozy, clean rooms, both with balconies and sea views. The hotel is also close to the main tourist attractions and about 10 minutes from the sea.

I can’t recommend this place. The food was disgusting, and the manager’s politeness felt terrible, as if we were checking into her own home. When we left, our bumper got scratched because the exit is very high.
