Costa D'ora Hotel

What stayed with us most was the seafront location. My husband and I watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the open horizon felt like FREEDOM. The beaches also had surprisingly few people. Getting to other places was easy and didn't take long. The young hotel is modern without unnecessary pretentiousness, simple but elegant and comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly, and sincerely helpful. Our room had clean linens, excellent beds, regularly changed towels, water, and tea. Everything we needed was there. And the breakfasts were so good you could swallow your tongue. Every restaurant dish was delicious, and we stayed full until late evening. So guys, don't hesitate, choose this hotel. Sleeping beside the sound of the sea was wonderful, and the children spent most of their time splashing in the pool with slides. The hotel is right on the beach, newly built, and spotlessly clean. Its grounds are full of fragrant, carefully maintained plants. The staff, led by manager Anna Igorevna, were amazing. Their kindness, friendliness, and quick solutions to every problem won me over. Chef Evgeniy Vladimirovich and the cooks deserve special thanks for the tasty, healthy meals. Even my picky children were always happily full. We did have trouble paying by card, but waiters Anna, Daria, Lana, and Dana sorted it out easily through a bank transfer and cash withdrawal. The maids, Olya and Tanya, are like fairies, and the room was clean, tidy, and fresh whenever we returned. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it. Nadezhda K.

For 17,000 rubles a night, we expected hot water, but the boiler was broken and appeared to have been that way for quite a while. A technician was promised for the next morning, yet he arrived just before checkout, so we still couldn't shower. When we asked for compensation, the receptionist went to speak with management and never came back. She had even joked to my husband, "You probably want to take a shower, right?" For 17,000 rubles, yes, you do. The hotel also felt generally run-down. One bedside lamp and the TV in our small, poorly ventilated room didn't work. There were no shelves for clothes in the closet or cosmetics in the bathroom, and the bathroom door latch at reception was broken. On Saturday night, a concert began directly across from the room. A man sang loudly into a microphone until night, making it feel like there was a disco inside our room, so sleeping was impossible. The sea view, tasty breakfasts and other food, and friendly waiters were the good parts. Still, it was far too expensive for me. At that price, I'd rather stay somewhere like Rooms Kazbegi.

We visited at the end of September with a large family, and the whole stay felt warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, the administration helped with every question, and the manager was especially kind, responsive, and responsible. The hotel is pet-friendly too, and even very fussy guests shouldn't find their furry companions a burden. The food is European. There isn't a children's menu yet, which is a small drawback, although the staff also helped with the child's meals, so it wasn't especially inconvenient. Special thanks to the nurses and the cook, this shift was fantastic. I could keep listing the good things, but it's better to go and see for yourself. I RECOMMEND!!!
