Rita House Hotel

This was the most TERRIBLE hotel we've ever stayed in. The final problem was finding our room door wide open after returning from the sea, with the key still in the lock. We assumed the maid had just stepped away, but an hour and a half went by and nobody had taken the key. We have no idea how long the room had been open or how long it might have stayed that way. Anyone could have walked in and taken whatever they wanted. The staff just giggled at our complaints and refused to fix anything. The problems started at check-in. We told the receptionist we were on a tour and would be back in the evening, so we agreed to leave the room key on the desk. We were warned that the hotel door locked at 10:00 PM and that we couldn't enter without the key, but they said they would leave the door unlocked because we might return late. When we got back, the door was locked anyway, and a guest had to hear us knocking and let us in. Our key wasn't on the desk, the receptionist had already gone home, and some guy eventually gave us a maid's key plus a front-door key because somebody else had taken ours by mistake. After dinner in town, that front-door key stopped working. I won't describe our attempt to get inside, but the same thing happened again with another key 🤡🤡🤡 There were no screens on the windows, so opening them at night meant letting insects in. There was no clothes dryer and no coil in the bathroom either. The air conditioner rattled. Zero service.
