Eco Life Hotel

The quiet setting was one of our favorite things. We never heard cars or crowds, and the beautiful grounds hardly felt like Abkhazia 🙈. The sea was a 5-minute walk away, with markets and the river nearby, and getting to the hotel didn’t involve climbing mountains or stairs. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, while the pool was always clean too. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and very convenient. Even when excursions meant leaving early and returning late, food was prepared and left for us. The owners are a lovely family. They helped whenever we needed something, offered advice, and sorted out problems. We stayed at the Eco Life Hotel from July 21, 2023, to July 29, 2023, and I’d happily return. Thank you for the vacation 🌴

The food at the hotel was fresh, homemade, and delicious. Even the breakfast pâté was homemade rather than store-bought, and the grilled fish and shashlik were wonderful. Thanks to chef Natalia for the meals and maid Zalina for cleaning the room. We stayed from June 29th to July 9th at the ECO-LIFE Hotel in sunny Abkhazia. The green grounds and sparkling pool were carefully looked after by Mikhail, while Tatyana clearly cared for every tree and bush. The rooms were clean and tidy, with ironed bed linen. Everything was provided, even a clean blanket covering the ironing board. After five days, the cleaning was thorough and all towels and linens were replaced. Tatyana and Mikhail answered every question and request quickly. They were kind and welcoming, and we’re very grateful for the warm stay. The trip to Lake Ritsa with Mikhail was a highlight, far better than taking a bus tour. The hotel is also very close to the sea. A fairly cold mountain river flows into it nearby, but swimming was still comfortable, and warmer water is available farther toward the White Rocks. That area is much less crowded than “central” Tsandrypsh, while the sea is just as good. We had a wonderful stay with the children. The breakfasts were tasty, the pool was a hit, and everything was clean and neat. Tatyana, Mikhail, and Fyodor were so welcoming that it felt more like visiting people than staying at a hotel. We were very pleased overall.

The sea is about five minutes away, although the Khashupse River meets it there, making the water cold. Walking a little to the left leads to warmer water. The beach is wild and has no equipment, but it’s great for barbecues. This is a pleasant new three-story guesthouse with comfortable, cozy rooms. Breakfast is included, with porridge or pancakes/syrniki, and everything tastes good. Rooms are cleaned once every five days. There’s no sign outside, so finding the place was difficult and we had to search by house number.
